“Saqqarah”

Progetto fotografico realizzato su un incarico per conto dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura e la Missione Archeologica Italiana al Cairo.

Durante le riprese per la realizzazione del libro “Lungo il Nilo al tempo delle piramidi”, a lato sono state scattate una serie di fotografie in bianco e nero classico che in seguito verranno inserite anch’esse nel libro.

Una serie di immagini prese sul sito archeologico di Saqqarah e nelle mastabe vicine a testimonianza della magicità del luogo.

Photographic project realized on commission on behalf of the Italian Institute of Culture and the Italian Archeological Mission in Cairo.

During the shoots for the book “Along the Nile in the Age of the Pyramids”, a series of classic black and white photographs, which would then be included in the book too, were taken on the side.

A series of images taken on the archeological site of Saqqarah and in the nearby mastabas to witness the  magic of the place.
